In November 2016 Victoria was hit with an anomaly known as Thunderstorm Asthma, this affected 14,000 people and killed 10. Microbiologist and Botanist Ed Newbigin along with Medical Advisor at the Victorian Department of Health and Human Services Danny Csutoros and Head of Weather and Environmental Prediction at the Bureau of Meteorology Beth Ebert give you an understanding of the thunderstorm asthma epidemic and what’s been done since.
