In this week's episode, host Laura Reagan, LCSW-C, a trauma therapist, consultant and coach, talks about an alternative diagnosis which is not yet official in the US - Complex PTSD or C-PTSD. In this episode you will hear Laura talk about: 

  • The additional criteria that go along with a C-PTSD diagnosis as written in the ICD-11. 
  • What is emotional regulation/dysregulation? 
  • The negative self-perception aspect of C-PTSD with examples 
  • Idealization/Vilification of parents
