Surviving A Killer - Kris Victim #10

HLN
About this episode
On December 18, 1976 just before the start of Christmas vacation, 15-year old, highschool student Kris was home alone when a masked man broke into her family's house, sexually assaulted her, and eventually left. She was East Area Rapist victim number 10, and it took her some 42 years to finally tell her story. It's a story about surviving, overcoming, reclaiming her life, healing, and having the opportunity to replace the mask with the face of her accused attacker, Joseph James DeAngelo, who's been charged as the Golden State Killer. Kris shares what it's been like since the arrest, what if anything she has to say to the accused, and the silver lining that's come out of reliving the traumatic events of that single night in 1976.
