Ep. 20 - Getting Wild & Free with Jene' ...

Valerie Jones
About this episode

Jene' and I take a rip roaring ride through her powerful life story and the lessons she's learned along the way, that she wrote about in her book, The Oat Project: How I Faced My Fear & Came of Age In One Wild Summer.

- she shares her journey out of religion and into personal freedom

- we talk about having grace and compassion for ourselves, even when it feels like we don't deserve it

- Jene will keep you laughing as she shares stories of getting wild

Jene Jackson is the author of The Oat Project, a memoir about how she finally sowed her wild oats, doing 25 things her preacher's daughter upbringing never allowed, at the ripe age of 37 and a mother of three. Jene can be found photographing, belly laughing with friends, making art, singing jazz, or squeezing words from her teenage children while driving them around.
