今回ご発表の岡野憲一郎先生は、精神科医そして精神分析家として長年ご活躍されてこられ、日本精神分析協会の訓練分析家であり、現在、京都大学教育学部で臨床心理実践学の教授を務めておられます。精神分析、解離性障害、神経生物学などに関する多数の著作・論文を執筆され、日本精神分析学会の出版賞も受賞されています。

今回のお話しの中で、岡野先生はご自身の精神科医そして精神分析家となられた経歴について手短にお話しくださり、その後、先生が特に関心を寄せる恥と対人恐怖、そしてそれが東洋と西洋の異文化間でどのように概念化されるかについて精神分析的な視点からお話しされます。先生は、恥から引き起こされる受身性と無表現が西洋では誤解されてしまいうるのに対して、少なくとも日本社会においては逆説的な威力や影響を持つ可能性があるとお考えです。その後先生は、もう一つの関心事、解離についてお話しくださいます。先生は、このトピックは人のこころの働きについて理解する精神分析的な方法において視点の転換をもたらすとお考えです。岡野先生はご自身を関係精神分析の立場に位置付けておられ、精神分析の限界を拡張する可能性を持つ、愛着理論から脳科学に至るまで人のこころに関する広範なトピックに関心を持たれています。岡野先生の精神分析的思索の一端を聞くことのできる貴重なお話となっております。
