Dr. Bartley Griffith is the Thomas E. and Alice Marie Hales Distinguished Professor in Transplant Surgery at UMSOM. Dr. Muhammad Mohiuddin is a Professor of Surgery at UMSOM and established the Cardiac Xenotransplantation Program with Dr. Griffith, the first in the United States.
