Have you ever thought that that love you wanted wasn’t possible for you?

That’s what my guest today, Bethany Dixon, thought just 3 months ago when she first joined my program called Dating for Love. Fast forward to now and she’s in a loving, committed relationship where they’re both in it for the long game.

Bethany came to me in a place of fearing relationships, fearing men and being completely guarded - feeling like in all of her relationships she needed to be the strong one, and always needed to protect herself. She felt like if she admitted to herself that she really wanted to be in a safe, mutually loving relationship - then there was a risk she wouldn’t get what she wanted and that would hurt more.

While working together Bethany met her now partner, and in this episode we talk about how she met him through a dating app, the work we did together in order for her to get to this point - and how this is the first time in almost ten years that she’s been in a beautiful relationship that feels safe and nourishing for her.
