About this episode

Monique Danielle is a Yoga Educator, Trauma Survivor, Student of Trauma-Focused Experiential Therapies, and the Founder of the Vivasana Center in Naples, Florida.

Monique and the Vivasana faculty offer a truly unique Psychologically-Informed™, Trauma-Aware, Residential Yoga Teacher Program which emphasizes cross-discipline collaboration and cooperation and focuses on empowering people to reach trauma survivors, people in recovery, and military vets.

Monique set the organization up to offer need-based partial tuition scholarships for low-income individuals, as well as full tuition scholarships for spouses of active duty military personnel.

Monique has also created and manages a successful yoga program for the Naples Shelter for Abused Women, contracts with Humana’s Corporate Wellness Division, and teaches for the county school district and government complex. She seeks to partner with forward thinking treatment centers and behavioral health professionals.
