In this episode, I’m joined by Hilary Bennett from Ground Your Game. After playing junior and college golf and competing in other sports, Hilary joined the corporate world but later decided her true calling was to become a full time coach. Hilary trains a variety of golfers and athletes from all ages up to professionals. Hilary explains how she first asks athletes to share their goals and then they work on improving resilience. Hilary coaches athletes to stay present and in the moment and provides visualisation, breathing and meditation techniques to improve each player’s mental game and to overcome mental blocks. Hilary using various techniques to allow players to detach from the outcome and works on different brain states. She encourages students to keep a daily journal and accept your life and situations!
