The Hotline received a question submission from a woman whose husband is behaving in a coercive manner and using manipulative tactics to try to force her into sexual engagement with him. I double checked with the Little Sister that she was comfortable having her situation shared so publicly, and she was clear she wanted the discussion to be had. Since recording this episode with Aileen, I've also shared the audio with the LS so she could listen to it privately and safely before knowing it was out in the world. She has since confirmed she is happy for it to be made public, and so I'm sharing this now as a bonus episode.

Sexual coercion is abuse. I am glad to report that our little sister here has since reached out to 1800 RESPECT to receive further advice on what to do, and she is putting some things in place to try to extricate her and her children from this situation.
