On this week's episode we hear an extract from the recent RollerCon discussing people of color hosted by Mick Swagger from Team Indigenous: "Most important thing I've been a part of in roller derby to date. Winning Hydras and playing top ten doesn't matter when oppression exists on your team and within your league. The obsession with winning that trophy seems to make people forget to treat each other well and that is just not something I can be quiet about anymore. This exists at every level in this sport and we are here to talk about it and continue to talk about it until people, leagues and our governing bodies take action.
