The National Audit Office has released a scathing report on the former Morrison Government's handling of a billion-dollar fund for the regions. 

The Treasurer Jim Chalmers says we're in for some heavy weather. He's downgrading economic growth forecasts, and predicting inflation will exceed the Reserve Bank's 7 per cent forecast. 

Inflation figures are out today, showing the cost of living is still soaring. Charities say they're struggling to deliver help to the growing number of Australians who need it.
