Russell Beardsmore - "Everything changed...

MANCHESTER UNITED
About this episode

Former Manchester United player Russell Beardsmore joins Helen Evans and David May on the Podcast this week to reflect on his time at Old Trafford.

Russell recalls playing in the United Academy and getting the hairdryer from both Eric Harrison and Sir Alex Ferguson.

He also touches on what it was like to witness the Class of '92 come through the ranks and establish themselves as the household names we know today.

We also hear about Russell's pranks which (bravely) were usually at the expense of Sir Alex. Listen to the end to find out what happened when he aimed a snowball at the boss.

Helen and Maysie also read out your emails at the end of the episode. If you'd like to write to the only official Manchester United Podcast then e-mail utdpodcast@manutd.co.uk

We'd also love it if you could leave us a rating and review wherever you listen to your podcasts.
