BRAD JOHNSON
About this episode

We often get emailed by 25-35 year olds interested in getting into private equity, venture capital, or real estate private equity, wondering if it’s worth it or not to go get an MBA.

Both Brad and I have our MBAs (which serve us well) — but there are definitely pros and cons to getting an MBA. So we thought it’d be a good idea to address this question and get into all the juicy details of why you should (or should not) get it, some of the pros and cons to both of the options, and the other possible pathways you can take. We also share our own experiences in earning our MBAs and how they have benefited us in our own careers.
