#1: Welcome To The MedFlashGo Podcast!

MEDFLASHGO
About this episode

The MedFlashGo Podcast is a Medical Boards studying tool designed by medical students and physicians for Step 1 (initially), Step 2, Step 3, and shelf exams. We understand that burnout is a real issue when it comes to medical school and beyond. We hope to make medical school more fun and enjoyable by creating something that lets you learn quickly and efficiently on the go.

In this podcast we will be doing a  "Question Of The Day" Monday through Friday. Each episode consists of four segments:

  1.  Question Of The Day
  2. Answer Choices
  3. Explanation Of The Answer
  4. Teaching Point/Concept-based on the question.

Each episode is designed to be short and sweet, never longer than 4 minutes! It is  4 minutes long for two main reasons. First, we want you to be able to maximize your time! Secondly, it is also available as a "flash briefing" a short mini-podcast you can listen to on Amazon Alexa and other available platforms. Our goal is to create an awesome daily study tool for you to get some valuable information into your earbuds. Make this a ritual during the week so you can maximize your medical knowledge!

Here's a bit of a back story: MedFlashGo is an Amazon Alexa skill (with plans to expand to other voice-platforms) designed to let medical students study on the go via voice-based interactive medical questions. We understand how strapped medical students are for time (since we are a team of medical students and physicians) and we want students to have better options to study. By studying using voice we gain the ability to sit back, rest our eyes, and utilize a different tool. While MedFlashGo is a great tool for voice-platforms, not everyone has an Alexa device. The podcast is a free supplementary tool to let you get access to questions and learn new concepts.

If you want access to episodes, subscribe to the podcast and listen to it on your favorite podcasting channel! If you are enjoying it, please leave us a review and let other students know about this tool! If you want to take things to the next level, check out www.medflashgo.com and do interactive questions using just your voice. MedFlashGo offers a free set of 50 questions prior to any subscription! Enjoy and best of luck!
