251: And Then You Eat the Ice Cream

In a preview of our new Designed in California podcast, we take you back to 1976 and recount Steve Jobs's numerous attempts to sell Apple or, at the very least, get someone to make an investment in the fledgling company. 

It's time for our 11th annual competition regarding what will happen at Apple's WWDC keynote! What will be announced? For the third straight year, what will Apple's AI story be? We predict it all! Also, Myke and Jason are starting a new podcast! 

WWDC is two weeks away, so it's time for us to consider what we'll be looking for from Apple in terms of features promised and promises delivered. 

Federico and Myke are back from Apple Battersea to join Stephen in grading the group's picks for this week's iPad event.

Special guest Henry T. Casey comes on the show to give us his hands-on impressions of the MacBook Air with the new M1 chip! Things look...dare we say… promising? We also went hands-on with the PlayStation 5, and chat about… Fleets! 

Stephen has an Apple Watch Ultra. Myke dropped his iPhone. Federico's security cameras came in very handy. Oh, and Stage Manager is still busted. 

Myke surprises his co-hosts, Federico finished the alphabet, and Stephen thought he had an exciting project on his hands.
