About this episode

Strap yourselves in for another ride aboard the Ramble mothership! Alongside you are Kate, Vish, Jim...and 31 Champions League-ready youngsters from Liverpool’s academy.

Jürgen’s boys got the job done against Ajax last night, with young goalkeeper Caoimhín Kelleher particularly impressive (even if he only got put there because he doesn’t score). Elsewhere, Pep Guardiola and Sérgio Conceição riled each other up so much that their respective sides forgot to stick any chances away.

We also tentatively celebrate the return of fans to the EFL and look ahead to some worrying plans for a post-Brexit transfer window.
