Most publishers sent rejection letters stating, “We are not interested in your book at this time.” A few more honest publishers thought Robert’s ideas were ridiculous. As a result, Robert and Kim turned to self-publishing. Three years later, Rich Dad Poor Dad made the New York Times Best Sellers list, the only self-published book on the list at the time.
