The Lebanese Center For Policy Studies
About this episode

On the third episode, Nadim El Kak is joined by social psychologist Carol Abi Ghanem to discuss the obstacles facing Lebanese youth during this crisis: From the difficulties of navigating labor markets in the midst of economic collapse to challenges in preserving their mental health and planning their futures, the youth lack the resources and support needed to withstand present conditions. How can the youth be supported both economically and from a mental health perspective? How do they self-identify and what are their ambitions? What kinds of policies are needed to help them accomplish their goals and curtail emigration?
