  • how to use the verbs kaufen (to buy), anprobieren (to try on), zahlen (to pay) and nehmen (to take);
  • what modal verbs are, and how to conjugate können (to be able) and wollen (to want) in the present tense, and mögen (to like) in the conditional;
  • cultural tips for dealing with shopping in German-speaking areas.
