Today, I want to discuss some lessons learned from a client of mine who joined us from 15 years ago. The ups and downs of trading so help you to avoid those same mistakes. Let’s get into the more right now.

An interview with a client who joined TFTC in 2011.
Now, just Monday, I interviewed a client of mine who lives in Crete. His name is Ioannis Kadis. He joined us in October 2011. And here we are in October 2026. So he joined us 15 years ago. Now I asked, Ioannis why he joined.
And in 2010 he started trading the Greek Stock Exchange, was finding a bit of a struggle, learned about forex trading family online and joined us in October 2011
Ioannis had paid for the course with his results in a few months.
And things started really well for him. And he said to me that within a few months, just by following the trades that we post each day, he had already paid off the course and was loving his trading.
But then the more he looked into trading, he realized he thought, well, he thought anyway that he needed, you know, multiple screens everywhere. And he kind of got a bit bored with just trading, you know, like once, twice a day and made the classic mistake of wanting to, expand and trade all the time. So he thought he needed to sit there and trade multiple times a day and just look at screens and charts all day long.
And of course, that led to the the usual spiral of going downhill, losing money and emotions, taking over. And then he said he spent a fortune on other courses, on strategies, on expert advisors. And he’s trading just went completely downhill. And he got completely and utterly frustrated.
10 years wasting time and money.
He spent about 10 years doing this. And then 5 years ago, he came back onto the course, realized his mistakes, and realized that what he paid for back in 2011 was the best thing that he had seen.
And all that time we continued hosting trades, doing really well, educating people, having success. His frustration was around a number of things. 1, it was the amount of money that he’d lost chasing the short timeframe charts and other strategies, and also the amount of time and money that he’d lost by not following what we’re doing. You see, when he 1st joined, within a few months, he’d paid off the course through following and learning, and then he realized that in those 10 years in between, he could have, you know, made an absolute fortune and compounded his account and done so well.
So it becomes that frustration and that whole, you know, I want to go off and become that multi-millionaire in 2 weeks of a thing that the, you know, so many people fall into that trap. And he was a classic example

Blueberry Markets trading competition results.
Now the reason I interviewed him was 1 to see how he was doing, but also 2, in September and into mid-October, I joined up with Blueberry Markets and offered, everybody the opportunity, clients and non clients the opportunity to jump on to a trading competition that blueberry were running for us. And Ioannis actually came 2nd in that competition with really low risk conservative trading.
He made 11.12% on a live account in just a few weeks. I think about 3 weeks and ended up winning $750 through blueberry markets. 1 of the things he said on the interviews that really surprised him was that the money that blueberry gave him as a prize was actual, real money. It wasn’t like trading credit that you couldn’t access. The $750 was actual real money. He could have withdrawn it straight away and used that as cash. He’s chosen to leave that in his account and to grow it and compound on it.
So I really urge you to have a look at Ioannis interview. I think you’re going to learn a lot from it. There’s a you know, 15 years is a long time.
He’s also, you know, amazed. At some 15 years later, we’re still doing what we’re doing. We’re still posting trades. And things have just improved as they do with technology and extra people on board with, you know, the daily trades are still profitable and have been every year since 2010. We’ve now got the amazing forum site. We hold extra webinars, we have US session webinars now, extra European session webinars.
Just last week we held an additional short time frame trading webinar and we hold prop firm webinars. We hold more experienced traders webinars. We hold newbie webinars. You know, all these additional things to help our clients so much. But the principle of the strategy still remains the same.
The TFTC strategy has never changed.
Ioannis also did mention that the beauty of using someone like Blueberry Markets is the additional markets that we can now trade as well.
You know, the metals, the crypto cryptos, indices, etc.. And when it comes to things like the metals, it’s not just gold against the US any longer, it’s gold against, you know, the euro, the yen, the Singapore dollar, the pound, etc. like that. But you know Ioannis is now back on track trading the principle and the strategy that we taught him all those years ago and doing really well and thoroughly enjoying his trading, as you can see from the video.
