This is the final day of Who Are You Beneath the Noise?—episode #3606.
This week, we made room for grief, returned to the breath, practiced protecting our attention, listened inward, and explored balance. Today, we bring those practices into daily life.
The theme is Embody.
You don't have to wait until you feel completely healed, certain, or calm before you can live as yourself. You can begin with one small choice that reflects what matters to you.
I can meet this moment as myself.
In today's final meditation, you'll practice embodying a quality you want to carry into your day:
You don't need a grand plan. One honest choice is enough to begin.
I can meet this moment as myself.
As you move through the meditation, ask:
What quality do I want to bring with me into the rest of my day?
Then consider:
Where could I practice this today?
Let the answer be simple and specific—something you'll recognize when the moment arrives.
A pause can help you notice what you're feeling and what matters to you before you respond. Today's practice turns that awareness into a small, intentional choice: a breath before answering, a moment of quiet, an honest conversation, or letting someone support you.
Small choices can become meaningful ways of living your values.
Contemplative practice is not only what happens while we sit quietly. It can also shape how we meet the next conversation, responsibility, or unexpected moment.
To embody a practice is to let what you've noticed guide the way you live—one moment at a time.
During today's meditation, you'll:
Repeat slowly:
And finally:
I can live my way back to myself, one moment at a time.
You don't have to wait until you feel completely healed, certain, or calm before you can live as yourself.
You can be in the middle of change and still choose how to meet this moment.
You can have unanswered questions and still know what kindness looks like right now.
You can begin with one breath, one choice, one moment of care.
Dear Friend,
As we complete this journey, I hope you remember that you don't have to carry every practice perfectly. You will have days when the noise is loud or it's hard to hear what you need. You can return in the next moment.
Take a breath. Notice what is true for you. Choose one small action that reflects the person you want to be.
You don't have to discover your whole path at once. You can live your way back to yourself, one moment of care at a time.
Thank you for sharing this week with me. Your life is happening here—and you are worth being present for.
With care,
Mary
Before bed, remember one moment today when you acted in a way that felt true to you.
Let that be enough. Feel the support beneath you, take a comfortable breath, and give yourself permission to set the day down.
Ask yourself:
What quality do I want to carry into today, and where can I practice it?
Take one slow, natural breath and repeat:
I can meet this moment as myself.
Choose one ordinary moment today to practice the quality you selected in meditation.
You might:
At the end of the day, reflect on how it felt to bring your practice into real life.
Choose one simple way to reconnect with yourself in the days ahead:
Let the practice be gentle enough to return to.
