CW: This episode contains discussions of cancer, bowel movements, fear of food, and suicide.
In 2024, appearance activist Carly Findlay thought she just had a gastro bug, or maybe IBS. One person told her she might even have caught dysentery on holiday. Five months later she was in hospital being told she had ovarian and endometrial cancer. Carly tells Abbie about her journey from mystery symptoms to diagnosis, surgery and gruelling treatment. Now cancer-free, Carly is an ambassador for Frocktober, an organisation raising awareness for ovarian and endometrial cancer, and raising money for critical research into this silent killer.
