In this English lesson I'll help you learn words and phrases that English speakers use when talking about trips and travel. Whether you're planning a road trip, going on a weekend getaway, taking a day trip, or heading out on a family vacation, there are lots of great English words and phrases to learn!
I'll teach you the difference between a trip, an outing, an excursion, and a journey. We'll also look at words like staycation, itinerary, homesick, and culture shock. And of course, travelling can be tiring! We'll learn phrases like lack of sleep, pulling an all-nighter, getting an early start, and being completely wiped out!
This lesson was originally taught during my Friday live English lesson, and this is the edited version for those of you who prefer to watch a shorter, more focused lesson.
I hope this English lesson helps you learn a few new words and phrases that you can use the next time you talk about travelling! Have a great day and thanks for watching!
