In this episode of Verdict with Ted Cruz, Senator Ted Cruz and Ben Ferguson break down Elon Musk’s planned SpaceX stock donation to American children, the expansion of Trump Accounts, political controversy surrounding comments made by Senator Elissa Slotkin, and what unrest in France could signal about political movements in the United States.
Elon Musk’s announcement that he plans to give a share of SpaceX to every child in America has reignited debate over wealth creation, philanthropy, and the future of the Trump Accounts program. Supporters argue it could transform how millions of children build long-term financial security, while critics continue to challenge the broader political agenda surrounding the initiative. In this episode, Senator Ted Cruz discusses Musk’s pledge to distribute SpaceX shares through Trump Accounts, a program Cruz says was specifically designed to allow charitable contributions and long-term investment growth for children. He explains the legislative battle over automatic enrollment and argues that the program could become the largest vehicle for philanthropic giving in American history. The conversation also turns to comments from Michigan Senator Elissa Slotkin regarding young professionals considering service in a Trump administration. Cruz and Ben Ferguson argue that her remarks reflect a growing willingness among Democrats to use government power against political opponents and raise concerns about political retaliation. Finally, the episode examines ongoing riots and unrest in France. Cruz contends that the demonstrations are being fueled by radical political movements and warns that similar dynamics could emerge in the United States. The discussion explores immigration, political activism, economic grievances, and the broader ideological debate surrounding unrest in Europe and America.
