Where's the Antonelli hype? Buxton and D...

THE RACE MEDIA LTD
About this episode

On the latest episode of The Race F1 Podcast, presented by Atlassian, Edd Straw is joined by special guests Will Buxton (IndyCar commentator and host of Up to Speed & Speed with Harvick and Buxton) and Conor Daly to discuss the Malaysia fallout, champion-elect Kimi Antonelli, and America's F1 driver conundrum.

First up, Edd, Will and Conor take a wider look at the farcical Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia start scenes, and whether it proved that drivers are no longer properly in control of their cars. Next up, they look ahead to Singapore, and ask whether Red Bull and Max Verstappen can carry their brilliant form to Marina Bay and - as Kimi Antonelli edges closer to the championship - whether the Italian's remarkable season is getting the recognition it deserves.

And finally there's discussion on IndyCar star Colton Herta's Formula 2 campaign, which was supposed to provide a springboard to F1 with Cadillac, but hasn't gone quite to plan. Does the situation emphasise that getting an American driver into F1 has never been harder, despite Cadillac's presence?
