Tottenham have been hit by a double injury blow with both Micky van de Ven and Jan Paul van Hecke facing fitness concerns. So what does it mean for Roberto De Zerbi and his defence?
Kate Mason is joined by The Athletic’s Elias Burke and Dan Kilpatrick to discuss the latest injury news, as well as the players returning to fitness during the international break, including James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski, and whether the extended break could finally give Spurs the chance to build some consistency. Plus, we answer your questions, including whether Spurs are getting an unfair pile-on, whether fans need to be more patient with De Zerbi as his football takes time to click, and the potential fallout from Manchester City’s financial breaches and whether Tottenham could have been one of the biggest victims.
