In this episode of Guerrilla History, we are joined by returning guest Immanuel Ness (fan favorite whom you will remember from our episodes Migration as Economic Imperialism, Political Traitors and Sellouts, Sanctions As War, Workers Movements in the Global South, and more!) to discuss his great new book Dialectics of Chinese Labor (please note, there is a free download of the book available through this link)! This is a fascinating work, and a terrific discussion, as conversations with Manny always are. Be sure to share the episode, and also download the book and give it a read!
Immanuel Ness is Professor of Political Science at Brooklyn College, City University of New York and Visiting Professor of Sociology at the University of Johannesburg. He is the author or editor of numerous works including Organizing Insurgency: Workers' Movements in the Global South, Southern Insurgency: The Coming of the Global Working Class, and The Palgrave Encyclopedia of Imperialism and Anti-Imperialism. We have episodes with him about many of these, so check out our catalogue!
