Dictionary.com announced that 5,900 new words were added to its website this year, including online slang, artificial intelligence developments, sustainability, global cuisine and health and psychology. They also added popular acronyms like, IYKYK: If you know, you know, and ELI5: Explain like I'm five. And then there’s of course, the most overused and annoying words of the year, like “moist” and ”like” that continue to top the list year after year.
