On this episode of Stock Movers:

- Darden (DRI) shares are down 0.91% after the operator of several restaurant chains reported comparable sales shortfalls for its Olive Garden and LongHorn banners, while Fine Dining and “Other” segments performed ahead of expectations. Profits were in line with the Street view, and guidance for the full year was reaffirmed.

- Everpure (P) shares jump as much as 20%, the most intraday since May, after the data-storage company forecast revenue for 2028 that exceeded the average analyst estimate.

- MGM Resorts International's (MGM) shares tumbled early Thursday after digital and print media company People (PPLI) withdrew its buyout proposal for the casino operator. MGM said its board remains excited to continue to lead MGM Resorts as a standalone company, and People Inc. remains open to a potential strategic transaction with MGM going forward.
