Monday night was officially chastening for Matthias Jaissle and his young Newcastle United squad as Leeds gave them the full Wetherby Whaler treatment.
With quite a few injuries already on the books, fresh ones were deeply unwelcome and it will be very interesting to see what the manager does for the visit of in-form Hull this weekend.
The Lasses(TM) remain unbeaten, though, thanks to Kath McGovern's first Newcastle goal away at Bristol City; good start, there. And, Jacob Whitehead did us proud in the GNR alongside Peter Reid!
