Rum Group had disclosed a major contract worth $13.7 billion in an August securities filing but did not name the customer, the Information reported.
- ServiceNow (NOW) shares rise. Shares of software companies, especially those seen as being at risk from AI disruption are rising after AI leaders called for a slower pace of development of their most advanced models.
- Baldwin Insurance (BWIN) shares gain. Michael Dell’s family office and Sequence Holdings acquired Baldwin Insurance Group Inc. in an all-cash deal valued at $7.7 billion. DFO Management and Sequence will form an entity that holds a majority stake in Baldwin, while certain Baldwin employees will retain a minority stake.
