Denison Mines (TSX:DML | NYSE:DNN) has entered a major new chapter as construction advances at its flagship Phoenix uranium project in Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin.
David Cates, President and CEO of Denison Mines, joins James Connor of Bloor Street Capital to discuss the progress being made at Phoenix, the company’s construction timeline, project financing and the path toward first uranium production.
Phoenix is being developed as an in-situ recovery uranium mine and became the first large-scale Canadian uranium project in more than 20 years to receive the federal approvals required to begin construction. Denison is targeting first production by mid-2028.
