Nobody achieves anything meaningful alone. Yet, we're led to believe that success means being "self-made."
The truth is, the relationships you surround yourself with can either keep you where you are or help bridge the gap between where you are today and the person that you aspire to become.
Today, I'm joined by my good friend Jayson Gaignard, author of Community Made: The Truth About Success and the Relationships That Create It and founder of Mastermind Talks. When Jayson got married, he had only two people at his bachelor party: his brother and brother-in-law. But today, he's created an extraordinary network of entrepreneurs and leaders and just recently sold 20,000 copies of his book on Kickstarter, despite having roughly 2,500 Instagram followers.
In our conversation, Jayson shares three simple questions to help you intentionally decide who belongs in your life and why generosity is the foundation of meaningful relationships.
He also explains why asking someone "How can I help you?" doesn't actually help the person you want to help, how to make people feel genuinely seen, and how you can build relationships with extraordinary people even if you don't have money, status, influence, or an existing network.
