The team researched the Golden Arrows squadron, spoke to fighter pilots, veterans and families, and recreated intense MiG-21 missions, including bombing operations at extreme altitudes.
They also talk about shooting at real Air Force locations, correcting common film clichés, casting the right actors, and balancing authenticity with cinematic storytelling while respecting the real people behind the story.
