**Happy September!** 🍂☕ It’s the first day of September, and the **Home Team** is back at The Scott Adams School with another wide-ranging morning conversation.
Today we’re bouncing around the news cycle with a little **Iran**, the latest surrounding **Lindsay Clancy**, **truckers**, **Massie dropping Epstein names**, and plenty more.
As always, grab your coffee and join us for the **Simultaneous Sip** as we look at the stories of the day through the lenses Scott taught us so well: persuasion, framing, pattern recognition, and occasionally asking, “Wait…what exactly are we looking at here?”
## A Note About Our Chat
We love that this community has become part of so many people’s morning routine. We want the chat to feel like a place where you can have your coffee, talk about the show, disagree with each other, laugh, learn something, and enjoy the company.

A small number of people have developed a habit of responding to nearly everything with personal snark, insults, cheap shots, or comments designed to make themselves the center of attention. That changes the experience for everyone else, and we’re not going to let a few people hijack a community that thousands of others enjoy.
**The Scott Adams moderation team is actively watching the chats.**
If you personally attack or repeatedly disrespect a **host, guest, moderator, or another member of the community**, you may be **muted**. You’ll still be able to watch the show, but you won’t be able to participate in the conversation.
**First offense: temporary mute.
Second offense: you may be permanently blocked from the channel.**
This isn’t about demanding agreement. Argue the idea. Challenge the premise. Tell us why you think we’re completely wrong. That’s part of what makes the School interesting.
But if your contribution is consistently hostility, personal sniping, or making the chat about you, this probably isn’t the room for it.
**Be interesting. Be funny. Be skeptical. Be opinionated. Just treat people like human beings.**
