Abercrombie & Fitch (ANF) shares soar. Abercrombie & Fitch shares jump as much as 30% to trade at their highest intraday level since January 2025 after the apparel retailer raised its adjusted earnings per share guidance for the full year.
-J M Smucker (SJM) raised its full-year outlook for sales and profit, buoyed by growth in its Uncrustables sandwiches and coffee. The packaged food company said it now expects adjusted earnings per share for fiscal 2027 of between $10.50 and $11.00, up from its prior estimate of $9.75 to $10.25. Smucker expects net sales to fall 1% to 2%, an improvement over its previous forecast of a decline of 3% to 4%.
-Zoom Communications (ZM) shares fall. The software company’s second-quarter results were seen as mixed. It also gave outlooks for adjusted third-quarter earnings and operating income that were weaker than expected.
