Martha was upset and worried about many things and was offended that Mary did not assist her, but sat at Jesus' feet and learned from him. Jesus corrected Martha, and she continued to serve, but without the stress, being focused more now on her faith in Jesus. Martha's story reminds us to keep our focus on spending time with God even when there is much to be done.
