One of the most common questions I get asked is "Why didn't my IUI work?" It's a great question because there are many factors that come into play with intrauterine insemination. If you're my patient, we'd start by checking the Fallopian tubes, uterus, and sperm quality first.⠀

But let's say you've done the #TUSHYcheck, the tubes are clear and everything else looks good. So why doesn't IUI work?

The answer I share with my patients is: because you're human. Yes, it's really as simple as that. ⠀

To put IUI into perspective, 90% of the time it doesn't work. ⠀

So if your IUI didn't work, I want you to know that there's nothing wrong with you, and you're normal, and human. It's that simple.⠀
