The NAACP has joined the legal fight in the case of Nolan Wells, the 18-year-old who went missing on the Fourth of July while boating with his all-white friend group off the coast of Mississippi.
In a place like Mississippi, trust in local law enforcement can be threadbare. This is where organizations like the NAACP are crucial, to conduct independent investigations. Attorney Kristen Clarke brings this work to light, and updates us on Wells’ case.
