- Applied Materials (AMAT) shares are lower even though it reported third-quarter results that beat expectations and gave a fourth-quarter forecast that is above the analyst consensus.
- Reddit (RDDT) is rallying as the social media company is set to join the S&P 500 prior to the opening of trading on Aug. 18, according to a news release.
