We have guests on today’s episode! The talented Sarah Hassan and Brian Kabugi, who play Salma and Biko in the movie Tides, joined us for a conversation about the money mistakes we’ve made in the name of love.
In Tides, Salma is a musician who works hard and gives all the money she makes to Biko, trusting him to “plan” for their family. But Biko ends up “saving” the money while still expecting Salma to do more, earn more and find a way to provide for their sick daughter and pay off their debts. Biko also defended his character and gave us a completely different perspective on why he did what he did. If you’ve already watched Tides, we’d love to hear your thoughts.
