The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s office responded to a disturbing scene on Tuesday after receiving multiple calls from concerned fans who were watching a bloody livestream involving celebrity blogger Perez Hilton. It appeared Hilton was cutting himself live, on his TikTok feed, and was covered in blood, as people watching were begging him to stop. The video has been taken down, but is still circulating online, as Hilton recovers in the hospital. While his reps have said publicly they haven’t been able to reach him, there are so many questions as to how and why things took such a violent turn. Sadly, self harm videos have been plaguing social media sites in recent years, and are considered by mental health professionals as a potential gateway to more serious outcomes, including death.
