What Caused the Ceuta Surge?

NEWSTALK
About this episode

At least 67 migrants died this week making the crossing from Morocco to Ceuta, the Spanish exclave on the north-western tip of Africa. But as the majority of those migrants have returned to their homes in Morocco, the focus has shifted onto the reasons for the sudden surge, and attention is falling on background manoeuvring by some of the 'usual suspects'.

Joining Pat to tell us more is Europe correspondent for Euronews, shona Murray.
