David Rutherford Show: "America's Sherif...

iHeartPodcasts
About this episode

David Rutherford sits down with Mark Lamb — "America's Sheriff" and former Pinal County Sheriff — now running for Arizona's 5th Congressional District, just days before the July 21st election.

Lamb traces his path from small-town sheriff to national conservative figure, taking on cartels and human trafficking on the front lines of Arizona's border, a 2024 U.S. Senate run against Kari Lake, and now his campaign for Congress. He and David dig into what it will actually take to crush the cartels Lamb calls transnational criminal terrorist organizations, including a diplomatic game plan for Mexico and the missed opportunity he sees in the aftermath of the Maduro operation.

They also get into DC's consultant class and lobbyist capture, the surveillance state creeping in through FISA 702 and license plate readers, Arizona's data center boom and its strain on power and water, and why Lamb argues real accountability is what will finally restore trust for a frustrated younger generation.
