Our guest today is Jason Andrews. Jason is an entrepreneur, aerospace innovator, and co-founder of Orbite, a company focused on redefining astronaut training and the future of human space experiences. He started in 1998 founding Andrews Space & Technology, aiming to be a catalyst in the commercialization, exploration, and development of space. The company developed advanced technologies and space transportation architectures for NASA, DARPA, and other government and commercial customers. Then in 2009, in founded Spaceflight Inc, providing space transportation services via rideshare on all existing rockets. In 2013, he founded BlackSky Global, building the infrastructure to observe the planet in real time with a constellation of 1 meter resolution satellites to provide near real time observations. And in 2015, Spaceflight Industries was created with the ability to build, launch and operate spacecraft. Spaceflight was later acquired by Firefly Aerospace. In 2022, Andrews joined the founding board of Neo Space Group (NSG), Saudi Arabia’s national space company backed by the Public Investment Fund.
