The idea that patriotic Americans should work to improve the country rather than simply celebrate it.

Trump's Vision:

1) America is fundamentally great and deserving of celebration.

2) Pride should be emphasized

3) Focus on achievements and national unity.

4) Associated with Trump and conservatives

Mamdani's Vision:

1) America must continue confronting flaws and inequities.

2) Reform should be emphasized.

3) Focus on inclusion and social justice..

4) Associated with progressives changing the Democrat Party
