Prehospital blood is one of the hottest debates in trauma resuscitation — and the evidence just got a lot more interesting. In this episode, Drs. The SWIFT trial — the largest prehospital whole blood RCT to date — found no superiority of whole blood over component therapy, but the story is far more nuanced than a negative headline suggests.
