Apologizing in English seems simple, right? You just say, “I’m sorry.” But actually, there are lots of different ways to apologize depending on the situation. If you bump into someone at the supermarket, you probably won’t say, “I sincerely apologize.” And if you accidentally send the wrong file to your boss, maybe “Oops, my bad” is not the best choice either.
