Welcome to the 3 Year anniversery episode of Field & Foley!
Today we have a rare treat for you, as I get to speak to three lovely people that made something truly wonderful! We're speaking about Life Unearthed with Ariel Waldman, Edith Mudge and Nathan Moody.
Ariel Waldman is an explorer and filmmaker. Her expeditions take her from tallgrass prairies and deep-sea canyons to the icy realms of Antarctica. In these remarkable places, she films otherworldly life beneath the surface, including the extraordinary lives of microscopic animals. Ariel is the creator and host of LIFE UNEARTHED - the documentary we are speaking about today.
Ariel is also a National Geographic Explorer, TED speaker, and author. She has served as an advisor to NASA on astrobiology, human spaceflight and advanced technologies.
Edith Mudge is a composer, orchestrator, and music editor based in Los Angeles. Her portfolio spans a wide variety of genres that converge at her love of live instrumentation, synth programming, teamwork, and attention to detail. In addition to composing all the music for Life Unearthed, she orchestrated and produced the score’s live recordings in Los Angeles and Europe.
Nathan Moody, the Supervising Sound Editor works as a freelancer as well as through Skywalker Sound. He has worked on blockbuster feature films, award-winning documentaries, and award-winning games for AAA studios and indie developers alike. He handled all sound design, editing, and mixing duties on Life Unearthed.
